BTS – SIX DEGREES OF SCIENCE: ICE AGE SURVIORS: TEXAS WILDLIFE **VIRTUAL**

AUGUST 12, 2021, 6:30 PM ยท OFFSITE

ONLINE EVENT – Discover how the end of the Pleistocene Epoch aka last Ice Age affected today’s wildlife and how the melting glaciers literally scarred the topography of our terrain. The dramatic North American “Ice Age” die-off saw the loss of saber toothed cats, giant sloths, the American lion and dire wolves to name a few, yet there were familiar species. In this tour we will take a paleontological look at modern Texas beasts and not so mega fauna by comparison.

After this pre-recorded event, the instructor will be available for a live Q&A session. By purchasing an event ticket, you are helping to fund science education in Houston and beyond. Thank you for supporting science!
