Although the first dinosaurs appeared in the Triassic Period, they were by no means a dominant part of the ecology until the very end. We will first examine the time when croc-oids ruled the dinosaurs. An extinction event marks the beginning of the Jurassic Period ushered in the “Golden Age of Giants,” the time of 100-foot-long Diplodocus and Stegosaurus who were skilled swordsmen.
