Prehistoric Models: Theropoda

Theropod meaning “beast footed” are a diverse group of dinosaurs that are primarily carnivourous (meat eating). Based on their hip structures, theropods are classified as saurischian (lizard hip) along with the long necked sauropods. Some of the most famous of this group are Tyrannosaurus rex, Velociraptor, Allosaurus and Spinosaurus.
