FOSSILS SPECIMEN: SAUROPOD DINOSAURS

Fossils are defined as any evidence of prehistoric life. There are two types of fossils: Body Fossils include remains of skeletal bones, shell, carapace, test and teeth. Trace Fossils are clues the organism existed such as foot prints, tracks, burrows and coprolites (fossil dung).

Sauropodmorpha meaning “lizard foot form”, includes the largest terrestrial animals in Earth’s history and are commonly called the “long necked dinosaurs”. All sauropodmorphs are know to be herbivours based on the shape and wear of thier teeth. To see my sauropodmorph models and toys click here.
